She graduated in Art History and Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb in 2005. She received her PhD degree in Art History from the same University in 2012 with the thesis entitled <em>The Life and Oeuvre of Sergije Glumac<\/em>. Since 2006 she has worked at the Department of Art History, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb where she teaches courses on modern and contemporary art. She is a member of a Chair of Modern Art and Visual Communication and in 2021 she was elected associate professor. From 2018 to 2022 she has held the position of the director of Postgradaute programme in Art History and coordinated the creation of the new Doctoral study programme in Art History, Cultural Heritage and Visual Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0\">She participated in a number of national and international scientific projects: projects funded by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia <em>Croatian Art of the 19<sup>th<\/sup> and 20<sup>th<\/sup> Centuries in European Context<\/em> (2006) and <em>Croatian Art from Classicism to Postmodernism<\/em> (2007\u22122013), as well as bilateral projects <em>Croatian and Serbian Artistic Connections in the 18<sup>th<\/sup>, 19<sup>th<\/sup> and 20<sup>th<\/sup> Centuries<\/em> (2011\u22122012) and <em>German\u2212Croatian Artist\u2019s Relations as a Part of International Artistic Networks in the 20<sup>th<\/sup> Century<\/em> (2014\u22122015), project funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia <em>Parisian Art Scene and Croatian Modern Art<\/em> (2013\u22122015), international scientific and exhibition project funded by the European Union <em>Bauhaus \u2212 Networking Ideas and Practice<\/em> (2013\u22122015) and several project within the Financial Support of the University of Zagreb. She participated in scientific projects funded by the Croatian Science Foundation <em>Croatia and Central Europe: Art and Politics in the Late Modern Period (1780\u22121945)<\/em> (2014\u22122017) and <em>Art and State in Croatia from the Enlightenment to the Present<\/em> (2018\u22122023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0\">She is the author of numerous retrospective and group exhibitions: <em>Sergije Glumac<\/em> (Milan and Ivo Steiner Gallery, Zagreb, 2005), <em>Expressionism in Croatian Caricature<\/em> (Klovi\u0107evi dvori Gallery, Zagreb, 2011), <em>Expressionism in Croatian Print <\/em>and <em>Contemporary Croatian Graphic Art Scene \/ Questioning the Medium<\/em> (both as a part of the <em>6<sup>th<\/sup> Days of Graphic Art<\/em> in the Gallery of Fine Arts in Osijek, 2013), <em>Silvio Vuji\u010di\u0107: Behind the Scene<\/em> (Vladimir Bu\u017ean\u010di\u0107 Gallery, Zagreb, 2014), <em>Foto Tonka \u2212 Secrets of a Social Chronicler\u2019s Photographic Studio<\/em> (Klovi\u0107evi dvori Gallery, Zagreb, 2015), <em>Foto Tonka and Theatre<\/em> (part of the <em>26<sup>th<\/sup> Days of Miroslav Krle\u017ea<\/em>, Croatian National Theatre, Osijek, 2015), <em>In the Rhythm of Time \u2212 Pavao Vamplin&#8217;s Graphic Design<\/em> (Centre for Culture \u010cakovec, 2020), <em>Sergije Glumac \u2013 Retrospective<\/em> (Klovi\u0107evi dvori Gallery, Zagreb, 2021), <em>New Standard \u2013 Studio for Industrial Design and Modern Living in the 1950s<\/em> (HDD Gallery, Zagreb, 2021, with P. She is an author of the sections on the exhibitions <em>Expressionism in Croatian Art<\/em> (section graphic art, Klovi\u0107evi dvori Gallery, Zagreb, 2011), <em>Journey to Eternity<\/em> (section photography, Klovi\u0107evi dvori Gallery, Zagreb, 2016), <em>The Sixties in Croatia \u2013 Myth and Reality<\/em> (section graphic design, Museum of Arts and Crafts, Zagreb, 2018), <em>On the Brink: The Visual&nbsp; Arts in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia 1929\u20131941 <\/em>(section photography, Museum of Modern Art, Ljubljana, Slovenia, 2019) and <em>Ratko Petri\u0107. Retrospective: Make Them Face the Truth!<\/em> (section graphic design, Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb, 2021). She participated in the organisation of the exhibitions <em>Postsculpture<\/em> (Croatian Association of Artists, Zagreb, 2005), <em>Avant-garde Tendencies in Croatian Art<\/em> (Klovi\u0107evi dvori Gallery, Zagreb, 2007) and <em>Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem \u2013 Sources of European Civilisation<\/em> (Klovi\u0107evi dvori Gallery, Zagreb, 2009).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0\">She has presented papers in numerous national and international scientific conferences, has held more than 25 public lectures and has participated in an organization of several national and international scientific conferences (e.g. <em>Art and the State in Modern Central Europe (18th \u2013 21st Century)<\/em>, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, 2021). She is an author of the books <em>Foto Tonka \u2212 Secrets of a Social Chronicler\u2019s Photographic Studio<\/em> (2015), <em>Sergije Glumac: Print, Graphic design, Stage design<\/em> (2019) and <em>Sergije Glumac \u2013 Retrospective<\/em> (2021), regularly publishes both scientific papers and reviews. She is a member of DPUH (Croatian Society of Art Historians), AICA and ULUPUH (Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0\">She has received several awards: the 2015 Annual Award of Young Researchers and Artists, awarded by the Association of University Teachers and Other Researchers in Zagreb, the 2015 Annual Award of the Croatian Society of Art Historians for the promotion of art history (for the exhibition and book <em>Foto Tonka \u2212 Secrets of a Social Chronicler\u2019s Photographic Studio<\/em><em>), and <\/em>the 2019 Annual Award of the Croatian Society of Art Historians for the promotion of art history (for the book <em>Sergije Glumac: Print, Graphic design, Stage design<\/em>).
