PhD student, junior research assistant <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Patricia Po\u010dani\u0107 (b. 1991) earned a master’s degree in art history and comparative literature at the Faculty of Arts, University of Zagreb (2016), where she is enrolled in a Postgraduate Doctoral Study in Art History. In Venice she interned at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and at the American Pavilion at the 15th Architecture Biennale<\/em> (2016). From 2013, she regularly collaborates with Open University Pore\u010d as a professional associate at the Zuccato Gallery. During 2017 and 2018 she was employed by the Croatian Association of Fine Artists of Applied Arts (ULUPUH). <\/p>\n\n\n\n Since 2019, she has been employed as a research and teaching assistant at the Chair of Modern Art and Visual Communication, Art History Department, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Since then, she was a collaborator on the institutional projects Hrvatska likovna ba\u0161tina od baroka do postmoderne \u2013 umjetni\u010dke veze, import umjetnina, zbirke<\/em> (Croatian Artistic Heritage from the Baroque to the Postmodern – Artistic Connections, Import of Artworks, Collections<\/em>, 2019\/2020, project leader: Prof. Dragan Damjanovi\u0107, Ph.D.), Hrvatska likovna ba\u0161tina od baroka do suvremenosti \u2013 umjetni\u010dke veze, provenijencija umjetnina, konteksti (Croatian Artistic Heritage from the Baroque to the Postmodern – Artistic Connections, Provenance, Contexts<\/em>,2020\/2021, project leader: Prof. Dragan Damjanovi\u0107, Ph.D.), Oblikovanje (post)modernog \u017eivota<\/em> (Shaping (Post)modern Life<\/em>, 2021\/2022, project leader: Prof. Dragan Damjanovi\u0107, Ph.D.), Oblikovanje (post)modernog \u017eivota (II.): \u0161kole i \u0161kolovanja<\/em> (Shaping (Post)modern Life (II): Schools and Education<\/em>, 2023, project leader: Prof. Dragan Damjanovi\u0107, Ph.D.) and project of the Croatian Science Foundation – Art and the State in Croatia from the Enlightenment to the Present<\/em><\/a>,<\/em> (project leader: Prof. Dragan Damjanovi\u0107, Ph.D.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n She is the author of several research papers, a series of forewords and exhibition catalogues, and has curated exhibitions on contemporary art and the history of design. As one of the organizers, Patricia participated in the following conferences: 3rd International Congress of Art History Students<\/em> (2014), Znanstveni skup s me\u0111unarodnim sudjelovanjem Vladan Desnica i Zagreb, 1924. \u2013 1930. i 1945. \u2013 1967.<\/em> (Scientific conference with international participation Vladan Desnica and Zagreb, 1924 – 1930 and 1945 \u2013 1967<\/em>, 2019), Art and the State in Modern Central Europe (18th \u2013 21st Century)<\/em> (2021), Tomislav Krizman i njegov doprinos hrvatskoj kulturi i umjetnosti. Znanstveno-stru\u010dni skup povodom 140. godi\u0161njice ro\u0111enja Tomislava Krizmana (1882. \u2013 1955.)<\/em> (Tomislav Krizman and his Contribution to Croatian culture and Art. Scientific and professional gathering on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the birth of Tomislav Krizman (1882 \u2013 1955)<\/em>, 2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n She is actively engaged in professional associations, and she is a member of the Croatian Section AICA (HS AICA), the Study Section of ULUPUH, Croatian Society of Art Historians (DPUH) and Editorial Committee of the Croatian Architects’ Association (UHA). During her studies, she participated in the Wikipedia Project of Art History Students<\/em> that was awarded the Special Rector\u2019s Award at the University of Zagreb (2013\/2014), she was awarded with the Award for Excellence in Graduate Study of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb (2016) and along with collaborators on the project, she is the winner of the award for the best publishing project of ULUPUH (2020).
